6% property tax hike here nearly double state average
Along with our lost property tax rebate and soon-to-disappear property tax deduction on state income taxes, word
comes that Maplewood's average property taxes rose 6% in 2008, much higher than the average statewide of 3.7%. Not
to mention our average property taxes topped $12,000 for the first time, well above the state average of $7,000. Rememebr
