SOMA TV SCHEDULE

STUDENTS HEARD OBAMA - BUT HOW MANY

obama.jpgIt is unclear if SO-M School District schools had students watch President Obama's speech to them on Tuesday at noon. The speech was  Obama's message of working hard, staying in school, and other positive reinforcement messages.
District spokeswoman Judy Levy e-mailed us that each school was deciding on its own to show the speech or not. She had no initial information on which schools, if any, were planning to do so.
Tuscan School allowed students to view the speech, some on a delayed video later in the day.
Some on the right tried to make it a political fight, saying he will socilize them, etc.
These guys cannot back off. When you are stopping the president from telling kids to stay in school, that is about as bad as it gets.
The Dept. of Education also made lessons available to use with the speech.
E-mail below your thoughts and if your child's school showed the speech.
